Providing for residents' physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social needs is what we are called to do. Residents appreciated learning time together recently, celebrating a Lakota Afternoon. The program centered around Mitákuye Oyás'iŋ - "mee ta KOO ya O YAH seen” It’s a Lakota phrase that expresses the world view that all things are connected – humans, animals, plants, rocks, rivers, trees and the stars. It reminds us that harm to one part of life affects the whole.

So pretty
I was swinging by the facility for a visit and got to see th team putting the finishing touches on the new Fall thrmed entrance. I watched the "Changing of the Wreath" to a beautiful fall theme. The autumn decorations look Beautiful and welcoming! Wonerful job ladies!

For some, this was their very first time participating, while others are officially old pros! Either way, Team Jaffrey showed up ready for some fun, friendly competition, and a great day together.
And we brought home some hardware! 🥉🎳 Joe earned the BRONZE in bowling! We’re pretty confident that trophy will be proudly displayed for everyone to see—and maybe accompanied by a few reminders about who the award-winning bowler around here is. 😉 Congratulations, Joe!
A special shout-out to Jestine and Stephanie for managing the day and making sure our residents could be part of this experience. Opportunities like this don’t happen without staff who are willing to organize, coordinate, encourage, cheer, and spend the day making memories alongside our residents. ❤️
